A rare original all cane French bergere chaise longue dating back to the early 1900s, this beautiful example has at some time in the past at considerable expense been completely re-caned, thus remains supportive and undamaged throughout, as with all fine pieces is double caned, both squab cushions are with feather and down filling, you will find the delightful stripped fabric is free from thinning or tares, there is evident some slight marks, both covers are though removable for cleaning, displayed throughout are intricate foliate carvings, the chaise is indeed a delightful example.
The overall dimensions are 66 inches in length, 38 inches in height and 29 . 5 inches in width.
