A splendid example this William IV c1830 double scrolled end settee, you will find the superb carved show wood in very pleasing condition throughout, to each corner the generous proportioned carved supports terminating upon brass castors, to the seating coordinating baluster and squab cushions, the pastel striped fabric is free from tares or thinning, I take the fabric to be some ten to fifteen years of age and there is evident light blemishes and scuffs commensurate with daily use,the craftsman to be acknowledge for the graceful curvature to the out swept arms as the sofa is indeed a fine example from the period.
