A wonderful and unusual Victorian stripped pine plan chest, to the front of each drawer a hinged rising flap, this I assume would be to retain the paper to stop it catching on opening the drawers, the plan chest can boast nine good sized drawers, each displaying the typical hand cut dovetails, each drawer retains its original D handles and label holder, you will find the plan chest in sound condition and the drawers running smoothly, there is to the reverse a later back, the plan chest is a lovely versatile example from the period and will no doubt lend itself to a number of optional uses.
