A splendid example this late Victorian double cane Bereger walnut suite to include settee and two armchairs, all beautifully carved and raised on squat bun supports, to each arms and to be found on finer examples the double cane, beneath the cushions the base to is coil sprung, you will find the cane in splendid condition throughout, the carvings to the back depicting trailing acanthus and winged cherubs, the fabric I take to be some ten to fifteen years of age, this is free from unsightly marks and tares, the cushions have a generous filling of feather and down, the suite is indeed a splendid example from the period.
