Exceptionally well crafted rosewood Victorian balloon back dining chairs, the craftsman must be acknowledged for there precision and patience, as these chairs show all the quality’s that only the most skilled could possibly achieve, the slender carbolic supports are met by a serpentine overstuffed seat, the traditional maroon fabric is in very good condition and I believe to be some five to ten tears of age, delicate by appearance yet all complete are the pierced acanthus carvings to the back and cresting rail, all chairs remain firm of joint with no wobbles, they are indeed a wonderful example from the period, the overall dimensions are 33 inches in height, 18 inches in width and 18 inches in depth.
