Regency c1820 Sofa SetteeChaise Longue Day Bed

A splendid rosewood Regency c1820 scrolled end sofa, the sofa has just been completely recovered and finished a delightful striped biscuit chenille from the Christina Marrone range and in keeping with the regency period, to either end coordinating baluster cushions and cord, to each corner the sofa is raised upon crafted turned supports seated in brass castors, the castors are new but correct for the period, the sofa is a fine example and displaying the graceful scrolled end curvature reflective of the patience of the period carvers.

The overall dimensions are 82 inches in length, 34 inches in height and 30 inches in depth.
