A fine regency c1810 double scrolled end sofa, the sofa has just been completely recovered in a heavy duty Knightsbridge fabric at a cost of £20 a meter, so I am confidently able to say is faultless throughout, the beautiful fabric is enhanced by the carved show wood of solid rosewood, the delightful out swept and carved arms are met by the superbly carved and fluted rosewood supports terminating on there original brass castors, reflecting the period construction the sofa is with a very pleasing weight and a good length, it is indeed a credit to the craftsman of the period, the overall dimensions are 85 inches in length, 35 inches in height and 31 inches in depth.
