A most unusual late Regency / early Victorian double scrolled end sofa, the scrolled ends are carved mystical serpents, there tails cleverly terminating at the scrolls, at the base and to each corner are substantial turned support terminating on there original brass castors, the crafted carved detail continues to the back with the delightful raised and finaled scroll, the splendid generous sectioned mahogany show wood displaying superb patination / colour unique to period furniture, all is enhanced by the striking ivory damask fabric, the fabric remaining in very good condition throughout and I believe to have been recovered approximately in the last two to five years,

The overall dimensions are 78 inches in length, 36 inches in height and 26 inches in depth.
