 A fine tambour top oak desk and rarely seen manufactured by Globe Wernicke, wonderfully crafted and all original, retaining its original key, the tambour top opens and retracts freely to reveal a splendidly fitted interior to include pigeon holes, drawers and pen slides, the desk raised on two detectable pedestals, there are eight drawers, with one deeper A4 drawer, above the drawers two extending brushing slides, the desk retaining its original finish you will find is in very pleasing condition throughout, the pedestals will detach from the tambour top to assist with access, this fine example typically has all the qualities that are evident in all Globe Wernicke furnishings.
