Globe Wernicke very rare pedestal desk

An original and rare Globe Wernicke pedestal desk dating back to the early 1900s, Globe Wernicke today are well known for the stacking / elastic bookcases, this splendid desk typically has all the qualities that are evident in all Globe Wernicke furnishings, the desk displaying solid mahogany fielded panels, this detail continues to the inside of the pedestals and the backs, there are a good arraignment of graduated drawers to include one A4 drawer, above the drawers two brushing slides, the writing surface I take to be original, to the back three superbly crafted sliding brass ink wells, you will find the desk as all original, the pedestals will detach from the main top to assist with access.
The overall dimensions are 54 inches in width, 30 . 5 inches in height and 30 inches in depth.
