A delightful and less often seen original French Duchess Brisee dating back to late 1800s / early1900s, this beautiful matching suite has just been professionally reupholstered and finished in a lovely patterned cream chenille, with coordinating arm covers, scatter cushion, rouge and buttoned, with double piping to the edges, so I am confidently able to say is faultless throughout and yet to be sat upon, both pieces are raised upon the original ceramic castors seated in decorative embellishers, to the base detailed carvings of egg and dart with turned and fluted supports all retaining the lovely natural original aged finish, the crafted formed serpentine seating and stool allowing the two pieces to meet, I am sure many a relaxing moment will be enjoyed on this wonderful example from the period.

The overall dimensions of the armchair are 34 inches in height, 34 inches in depth and 33 inches in width, the stool measures 27 inches by 27 inches and 15 inches in height.
